Just like in 2024, the first tour of the year and the only one in the south was operated by Hastings Diesels Limited.
This tour was special as the train had four motor coaches with 60000 "Hastings" as the centre motor coach on the rear on arrival into Winchester.
As normal the tour started in Hastings and then used Hastings Diesels usual route to Guildford via Tonbridge. Following the last pick up in Guildford the tour continued to Woking where the train reversed and used the South Western Mainline to Winchester.
After dropping off the first group of passengers at Winchester, the train continued to Eastleigh where the second group of passengers were dropped off. The train then reversed into Eastleigh East Yard for a break and to be prepared for the return in the afternoon.
On the return, the trio of motor coaches lead the train from Eastleigh to Winchester to collect the passengers that alighted there earlier.
In the train was 60000, the first Hastings Unit motor coach. This coach is a 6S rather than the 6L of the other motor coaches. This means that the coach is shorter with only 3 windows in the passenger compartment instead of 4 in the 6L coaches.
After the short stop, the train departed for Woking where it reversed back to Guildford and continued on to Hastings via the normal route.
